Crush List by Zoë Björnson
I recently spent a solo-ish weekend in New York City, a place I used to visit yearly as a teen and lived in a few times in my adult life. It was so soul-filling and had so many crushable moments. Here are a few of them.
Making new memories in a place you used to call home.
Apricity (stolen from Katie!)
Not being in a rush.
Not being in a rush in New York City.
The feeling when childhood memories rush back.
The old wooden escalators at Macy’s Herald Square.
A festive department store.
Doing the things that used to make you feel anxious with ease.
The pretzel smell.
Eating pizza standing up.
Broadway shows.
Being a theatre kid.
12,000+ steps.
Stoops.
Mosaics.
Mosaics in subways.
A solo trip to an art museum.
Sitting at the bar, also solo.
Being alone, but not lonely.
Going home with a new coat!
